Participants who have already been involved with evidence-based teaching practices through the Center for Teaching Innovation and/or Future Faculty and Academic Careers are eligible to apply for an exemption to earn advanced certificates without first earning the Associate certificate. In order to receive a Practitioner or Scholar certificate without first earning the Associate certificate, applicants must demonstrate that they have met the learning outcomes of the Associate level.
Exemptions may be obtained either through written request or through a short interview with the Executive Director of Future Faculty and Academic Careers. To schedule an in-person interview, please book an appointment online, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 607-255-2030.
