Cornell postdocs and graduate students interested in exploring or pursuing careers in the professoriate and elsewhere in academia can benefit from programs offered through the Future Faculty and Academic Careers program of the Graduate School Office of Career and Professional Development, the Office of Inclusion and Student Engagement, the Center for Teaching Innovation (CTI), and our institutional membership in the CIRTL Network.

Consultations and Advising Meetings

Current Graduate School students may book an online appointment with career and professional development advisors and are encouraged to select Associate Dean for Professional Development Colleen McLinn for support in applying for faculty and tenure-track positions.

Cornell postdocs preparing application materials for postdoctoral or faculty positions may schedule individual consultations with Christine Holmes, Director of Postdoctoral Studies, to discuss their job search and application materials.
